From October 8, 2026, customers can enjoy one international trip with free roaming every year with these new postpaid plans, along with all existing benefits.
The complimentary International Roaming pack offers 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS, and free incoming SMS, all valid for 5 days. Customers have complete flexibility to activate the 5-day pack at the exact time of their choice, making it easier to stay connected while travelling abroad. For customers on Airtel Postpaid family plans, the free International Roaming option is available for each and every family member who is part of the plan.
Free International Roaming is the latest addition to Airtel Postpaid plans which come with superior experience through Fast Lane technology, Unlimited Data, network-level protection against spam and fraudulent links. Customers can also enjoy a range of entertainment subscriptions and access to exclusive experiences through the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club, including comedy shows, movie premieres and concerts.

How can customers get the new plans?
Effective October 8, 2026, these postpaid plans are available for all customers opting for Airtel Postpaid. Existing Airtel customers (both on old postpaid plans or on prepaid) can easily upgrade to these plans through the Airtel App or by visiting the nearby Airtel Store. Non-Airtel customers can switch to Airtel Postpaid by raising a switching request to Airtel through the Airtel App or by visiting an Airtel store.
