The centre has been working in commerce education for more than 10 years and has developed a course structure that combines classroom teaching, digital classes, study material, tests and student support.
Lilha Education Centre, commonly known as LEC, focuses on education for commerce students and candidates preparing for professional examinations.
The institute says its programmes are designed to help students understand core concepts rather than rely only on memorisation. Classes are supported by practice sessions, mock tests, previous-year papers and doubt-solving activities.
According to information published by the institute, more than 5,000 students have been associated with its commerce programmes. It also reports more than 25 All India Rankers and lists a team of more than 15 faculty and staff members.
CA Coaching Forms a Major Part of the Programme
Chartered Accountancy remains one of the main career choices for commerce students in India. Lilha Education Centre offers a dedicated CA coaching programme in Varanasi.
The programme covers preparation for the different stages of the CA route. Students receive classroom instruction along with access to learning material and practice resources.
The institute also uses mock examinations and previous-year question papers as part of its preparation system. These resources can help students track their progress and practise answering questions within a fixed time.
The centre lists the CA programme as a four-year course and states that more than 2,000 students have enrolled in it.
CS Coaching Available for Aspiring Company Secretaries
Company Secretary preparation is another major area at the centre.
The CS course is aimed at students who want to pursue a professional career related to corporate law, compliance and business administration. Students preparing for the examination need to manage subjects that require both conceptual knowledge and regular written practice.
LEC provides classroom and digital learning options for CS candidates. Its website also features student achievements from earlier examination cycles.
Among the names listed by the institute are Manya Pandey, identified as a CS Foundation All India Rank 14 holder, and Riya Keshwani, identified as a CS Foundation All India Rank 25 holder.
These achievements are part of the institute’s published student records and are not a guarantee of future examination results.
CMA Course Targets Accounting and Management Careers
Students interested in costing, accounting and management can also choose the CMA programme at LEC.
Cost and Management Accountancy involves subjects related to cost accounting, financial management, business analysis and management accounting. The qualification is used by professionals working across finance and business functions.
The institute lists its CMA programme with a duration of around two and a half years. It also states that more than 150 students have enrolled in the programme.
The course provides another professional option for commerce students who want to work in finance and management without following the CA or CS route.
ACCA Classes for Accounting Students
LEC also offers ACCA classes in Varanasi.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification is used by students and professionals who want to develop careers in accounting and finance, including roles with international exposure.
The centre lists its ACCA programme with a duration of three years and provides coaching for students preparing for the qualification’s examinations.
The course adds an international accounting option to the centre’s existing CA, CS and CMA programmes.
CUET Preparation Added to the Academic Mix
University entrance preparation has also become part of the institute’s course list.
Lilha Education Centre offers CUET coaching for students preparing for undergraduate admissions. The programme has a listed duration of three months.
The preparation format includes structured classes and exam practice. Students can use the programme alongside their regular academic studies while preparing for the entrance examination.
The centre’s published student information also mentions Tanisha Seth as a CUET qualifier from the 2022-23 cycle.
Support for Class 11 and 12 Commerce Students
LEC also works with students at the school level through its Class 11 and 12 commerce foundation programme.
The two years are important for students who plan to enter professional commerce courses after school. Subjects introduced during this period form the base for later study in accounting, economics, business studies and related areas.
The institute’s foundation programme focuses on these subjects while giving students an early introduction to professional exam preparation.
This approach allows students to start planning their academic path before completing Class 12.
Digital Classes Expand Access to Course Material
The institute has introduced a mobile learning platform along with its classroom programmes.
Students can access live and recorded lessons through the centre’s mobile application. Recorded classes can be used for revision when students need to review a topic or revisit a lecture.
The digital system also includes learning resources and support features. This gives students an option to continue studying outside the classroom.
For professional courses that require long study hours, access to recorded lessons can also help students manage revision around their regular schedule.
Experienced Faculty Behind the Programmes
LEC has a team of teachers and mentors with professional qualifications in accounting, finance, law and commerce.
Founder and Director Ajay Lilha is described by the institute as an educator who has worked with commerce students for many years. The institute also credits him with authoring books on accounting and taxation.
CA Ankit Lilha serves as another Founder and Director. He is a Chartered Accountant and studied at Banaras Hindu University. The institute states that he secured the first position in Varanasi in his CA Intermediate examination before moving further into teaching.
The centre’s faculty also includes CA Shilpum Khanna, who is described as a CS Executive All India Rank holder with more than 15 years of teaching experience.
CA Dr. Swati Agrawal Mittal is listed as a founding mentor. Her academic profile includes CA, PhD in Finance and B.Com (Hons.) from BHU. The institute states that she secured All India Rank 7 in CA-CPT and later achieved top positions at the district level in CA Intermediate and CA Final.
Three Locations Serve Students Across Varanasi
Lilha Education Centre has listed three locations in Varanasi.
The head office is situated near Lahurabir Chauraha, while other centres are located near Sigra Chauraha and Bhojubeer Chauraha. The locations allow students from different parts of the city to attend classroom programmes.
The institute lists its regular working hours as 9 am to 7 pm from Monday to Saturday and 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday. Course timings may differ, so students are expected to check the current batch schedule before visiting.
Regular Testing Remains Part of Preparation
Exam preparation at LEC is supported by mock tests, previous-year papers and study material.
Regular testing can help students identify topics that need more practice. Previous-year papers can also help candidates understand the format of questions and manage time during an examination.
The centre also provides doubt-clearing support and mentorship as part of its academic structure.
For students preparing for CA, CS, CMA or ACCA, the preparation period can extend over several examination stages. A regular study schedule and repeated practice therefore form a central part of the process.
Growing Choice for Commerce Students in Varanasi
Lilha Education Centre‘s course range covers several stages of commerce education, from school-level preparation to professional qualifications.
Students can choose between CA, CS, CMA and ACCA based on their intended career path. Those seeking undergraduate admission can also prepare for CUET, while Class 11 and 12 students can use the foundation programme to strengthen their commerce subjects.
With classroom centres, digital classes, mock tests and subject-focused teaching, the institute continues to operate as a commerce coaching centre in Varanasi.
Students and parents considering a course can compare the syllabus, faculty, class format, test schedule, location and fee structure before enrolling. Such factors can vary between courses and batches.
For LEC, the stated focus remains on commerce education and professional examination preparation, with programmes designed for students at different stages of their academic journey.
