Mumbai (Anil Bedag): In the midst of managing homes and families, women often tend to neglect their own health. With the aim of changing this mindset and encouraging women to prioritize preventive healthcare and timely medical check-ups, Surya Hospitals has launched its state-of-the-art “Amber Wing,” a dedicated healthcare facility designed exclusively for women. Actress and health awareness advocate Yami Gautam Dhar joined the initiative and urged women to take their health seriously.
Equipped with 55 additional beds and advanced medical infrastructure, the new wing will offer specialized healthcare services including cardiology, robotic surgery, orthopedics, cosmetic surgery, and critical care facilities for women. The hospital also unveiled ‘The Amber Promise for Women’s Health,’ an awareness-driven initiative aimed at promoting regular health screenings, preventive care, and timely treatment among women.
Yami Gautam Dhar said, “Women often prioritize their families while their own health takes a backseat. Timely screenings and preventive healthcare are extremely important. I’m glad to support an initiative that encourages women to become more conscious about their health and early diagnosis.”
Dr. Bhupendra S. Awasthi, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Surya Hospitals, said, “Our vision is to provide women with world-class, compassionate, and integrated healthcare services under one roof.”
