Aarti Khetarpal Launches Bhakti Song at Cannes 2026 Bharat Pavilion
Aarti Khetarpal created history at Cannes Film Festival 2026 by launching her devotional song “Sitaram Kahiye” at the Bharat Pavilion, celebrating Indian spirituality and Sanatan culture on a global stage.
Cannes, France | Cannes Film Festival 2026: In a landmark cultural and spiritual moment at the Cannes Film Festival 2026, Aarti Khetarpal created history by launching her Bhakti song “Sitaram Kahiye” at the prestigious Bharat Pavilion, becoming possibly the first in the history of the Bharat Pavilion and Cannes Film Festival to launch a spiritual song and devotional bhajan on this global platform while also being its singer and composer.
Following her globally recognised representation of Sanatana Dharma at the Cannes Red Carpet, Aarti Khetarpal further elevated India’s spiritual and cultural narrative by introducing devotional storytelling to one of the world’s most celebrated creative platforms.
The launch took place at the Bharat Pavilion with the support of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), and FICCI, in the presence of distinguished personalities including
Shri. Gautam Bhanot. General Manager, Film Promotions and filmmaker Chandrakant Singh, Actor and Padma Shri Mohammad Ali Baig, renowned fashion designer Samant Chauhan, Designer Ambar Pariddi Sahai, Fashion curator Liza Varma who launched the poster of aarti’s spiritual song Sitaram Kahiye.

The official poster and music video unveiling of “Sitaram Kahiye” became an emotionally moving experience for attendees present at the Pavilion. Members from NFDC , FICCI reportedly described the moment as deeply spiritual and powerful, sharing that several guests became emotional during the live presentation of the anthem.
The spiritual atmosphere during the unveiling grew profoundly moving as the devotional energy resonated throughout the venue. During the live presentation, Aarti Khetarpal herself became emotional while singing, overwhelmed by the significance of the moment as a devotional offering dedicated to Lord Ram and Sita found its first global unveiling at the world famous Cannes Film Festival and within India’s prestigious Bharat Pavilion.
