Led by Sonakshi Sinha, the film explores how access to justice can shift depending on where one stands in society, while also diving deep into the emotional complexities of its characters. For Sonakshi, the project stood out not only because of its world and themes, but also because of the depth of the character she plays.
Speaking about her character and its world in the film, Sonakshi shared, “What stayed with me the most was Neha as a character, she’s layered, she’s flawed, and she’s constantly evolving. And then the world of the film, it feels very real and relevant. The questions it raises about access to justice and how differently it can look depending on where you stand in society, and that’s what really pulled me in.”
