Dr. Risah Tripathi and Dr. Vivekananda Upadhyaya presented research papers on the influence of the Ramayana on Jainism, Ramanucharya and devotion.

The presentation on the topic “Shri Ram — In an Islamic Perspective” by Maulana C.P. Sultan Naseer, a representative of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, opened a new direction for religious harmony. He pointed out that Shri Ram was a great man who upheld human values. He also said that mutual respect is essential between different religious groups.
The fact that the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat offered prayers at the seminar venue also sent a strong message of harmony.
Another important element of the devotional gathering of the Ram devotees was the Kodanda Ratha Yatra.
The Rath Yatra, which started from the Triprayar Sri Ram Temple, reached Guruvayur carrying the Dharma Dhwaja and Kodanda brought from Ayodhya. Devotees welcomed the Rath Yatra with a shower of flowers in an atmosphere filled with the sounds of “Jai Shri Ram”.
The Rama Bhakta Sangam, which lasted for three days, began with the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaja by Maunayogi Swami Harinarayanan.
Aarti and chanting of the name of Rama filled the venue with spirituality.
On the cultural stage, the tribal art form of Attappady, “Ramarkoothu”, returned to the stage after decades. This art form, presented under the leadership of director Vijeesh Mani, gained public attention. This tribal art form, which was based on the story of Rama, had been forgotten for decades. —- Director Vijeesh Mani Guruvayur Sai Sanjeevaniyam, who collaborated with him for months, has undoubtedly made this program called Rama Rama Pahimam a success.
The Ramayana pictures drawn by the children in the painting competition held in connection with the Rama Bhakta Sangam turned into a festival of devotion.
The closing session was inaugurated by Sudhir Agarwal, a former Allahabad High Court judge. In his speech, he shared about the challenges he faced while writing the Ayodhya verdict.
