Miss Ocean World 2026 Contestants Tour Jaipur Heritage Sites
Delegates from the world's top 10-ranked pageant explored the Pink City's culture ahead of an Aug. 23 finale at Anant Mahal.
JAIPUR, Aug. 19 (SCNWire) Contestants competing in Miss Ocean World 2026, an international pageant ranked among the world's top 10, toured Jaipur's heritage sites on Tuesday as part of a week-long event promoting the city's tourism and culture.
The tour formed part of the pageant's official cultural exchange program, which organizers say pairs the competition with tourism, heritage and culture promotion activities in host cities.
Organizers cite Jaipur's global appeal
Event organizers Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra, along with director Ekta Jain, said Jaipur was selected to host the pageant because of its longstanding draw as a global tourism and heritage destination. According to the organizers, international pageants such as Miss Ocean World routinely combine competition rounds with cultural exchange programming in the cities where they are held.
A lunch for contestants was held Tuesday at Hotel Marriott Jaipur, hosted by Dr. Jagdish Chandra, chairman and managing director of Bharat 24, who welcomed the delegates ahead of the competition's later rounds, according to organizers.
