Filmytell: Bringing Indian Cinema Closer to Audiences Through a New E-Theatre Model

The Indian film industry produces thousands of stories every year across multiple languages and genres. Yet, for many small and mid-budget filmmakers, reaching audiences remains one of the biggest challenges. High theatrical distribution costs, limited screen availability and the difficulty of securing conventional OTT deals can leave deserving films without the visibility they need.

Filmytell is emerging with a different approach to this challenge through its Pay-Per-View (PPV) rental-based E-Theatre model.

A New Approach to Digital Film Distribution

Filmytell, founded by Nitin Udmale, is being developed as an E-Theatre platform where audiences can rent movies instead of committing to a monthly subscription. The model is designed to provide filmmakers with a more direct route to their viewers while giving audiences the option to pay specifically for the content they want to watch.

The platform positions this concept as “India’s Pocket Theatre”, bringing cinema to smartphones, smart TVs, tablets and web users.
