Producer- director and AMX Production founder Amrit Pal Singh officially announced a nationwide casting tour in collaboration with Sunny Nanasaheb Waghchoure, popularly known as one of the “Golden Guys.”

The announcement came after weeks of public tension between both sides as earlier, social media pages and entertainment portals were filled with reports about a heated stage clash during a live media event. Videos from that event had gone viral online after Sunny allegedly pushed a manager from AMX Production during a public interaction. Following the incident, Amrit Pal Singh had reportedly torn apart papers connected to a ₹100 crore project called Student Power and announced that he would move ahead independently. Now, the mood seems completely different.

During the latest press conference, both Amrit Pal Singh and Sunny appeared together on stage and confirmed that misunderstandings between them are over. Sunny revealed that he personally travelled to Goa to meet Amrit and settle things face-to-face. Both repeatedly described each other as “brothers” during the interaction. The biggest announcement from the event was the launch of an “All India Casting Tour” that aims to search for fresh talent from every part of the country. The tour will not only focus on metro cities but also reach villages and small towns according to the team.

Amrit Pal Singh said that today many talented people fail to enter the entertainment industry because of financial problems and lack of support. He explained that AMX Production wants to directly reach such people instead of waiting for them to struggle in Mumbai. Sunny also strongly supported the idea and said that many talented creators on social media do not become viral because their accounts are small, not because they lack skill. He claimed that the new project will help such hidden talents get proper visibility.

The organisers shared several ambitious plans during the conference. They stated that the project involves an investment target of nearly ₹100 crore. According to them, the initiative will include nationwide casting auditions, talent workshops in different cities, music videos featuring newcomers, more than 100 planned songs initially, future films and web series projects and promotion through AMX Production’s own digital platforms.

The team repeatedly stressed that “talent” would be the biggest selection factor, not age, social media following or financial background. During the media interaction, they said that children as young as four years old could also participate if they showed talent.

One major talking point from the event was the promise of workshops and training. Amrit Pal Singh explained that even people who are not fully trained actors would be guided through workshops organised city by city. The organisers claimed that many acting agencies charge heavy fees, while their own platform would only ask for a registration fee of ₹999. According to the team, applicants will be able to upload their videos and introductions through an official casting website. Shortlisted participants may later receive direct training and opportunities in music videos, web content and films.

Another interesting moment came when the discussion shifted toward music videos. The organisers claimed they plan to create around 100 songs initially and launch new faces through those projects. They also mentioned collaborations with known internet personalities and artists. Sunny also repeatedly said that the purpose of the project is to help those people who never receive industry opportunities despite having real talent.

Amrit Pal Singh, meanwhile, positioned the project as a fight against industry barriers and indirect nepotism. He explained that instead of investing huge money on already established stars, he would rather use that money to build opportunities for newcomers from ordinary families. The organisers further claimed that their talent search would continue for nearly one year and cover multiple regions across India.

The announcement has clearly created curiosity among aspiring actors, singers and content creators across the country. For thousands of youngsters sitting in small towns with big dreams, this casting tour is being presented as more than just another entertainment project.
